December 14th, 2010

There are many football players who have achieved great things by playing for Manchester United. They have been able to do this after leaving their old clubs, some have even enrolled in London teaching jobs as coaches. But Diego Forlan the Uruguayan footballer has not yet been bitten by this bug. Forlan has been able to forge himself to one of the best footballers through his hard work and wonderful footwork’s. But now everything seems to be bleak as Forlan has been offered to Jose Mouriho by Atletico Madrid, which is his current club. The deal has been reported to be over €20 million. But what will Forlan gain by this move is not known.

However, it is quite surprising that till now Forlan has not yet been linked with a move to Manchester City because it has been reported that Roberto Mancini has been sending feelers to the FC Porto’s Brazilian Striker, Hulk. Something more is expected to come out within the next few months in accordance to the Daily Mirror.

The Sun has also reported that after Hulk made a grand entry at the Eastland’s, the first man who will be scarpering is Rosque Santa Cruz who would be let to go for a sum of about £3 million. However, the Paraguayan player has the option of choosing between Wolfsburg and Fulham and be rejoined with his former manager Mark Hughes. Everything seems to be like a merry go round.

Though Liverpool may have again started to fare better, Roy Hodgson has informed that he cannot accommodate an attacking midfielder, whose name has for the present been withheld. Another news that is going round is that Keisuke Honda of CSKA, Moscow would soon be leaving and moving over to Anfield in January and is expected to take over £9million in cash.

Not to be outdone, Daniel Agger is reported to be leaving Anfield. He is seen as a replacement for Walter Samuel. Where is Walter Samuel going is not known but he is reported to be going for a ski holiday in an unnamed Austrian Ski Resort in the coming winter months.

In the end there is Gerard Houllier who is reported to have fallen out with John Carew. There are indications that Bafetimbi Gomes is going to be his replacement.
